Verizon Wireless just released a pink BlackBerry Curve 8330. It’s on sale for $99! It’s really nice because it’s in a shade of blush pink which is appropriate for any gadgets or laptops.
Another one was recently released by Sony Corp. They already had CR notebook series in pink, the new NR notebook series has better shade of pink aptly called ‘Cosmopolitan Pink.’ It’s a nice blush pink and looks better than the CR ones they released a while ago. It looks more of coral than pink. It retails at $750 and up.
I think the companies are trying to cater to women who happen to love color pink. I think pink hue has so much power especially when it comes to women and technology. I think women would like to distinguish themselves apart from the world of men who enjoy hues of mainly silver and black. I wish that Apple would also come up with different colors of their Macbook laptops besides white or black. Bring on pink!
