If you have colored your hair in any color but blonde past 3 to 6 months, then it is feasible to go blonde just after 6 months without new color job.
If you already have bleached or lightened your hair blonde between 3 to 6 months ago but performed a tintback with darker color (red, brown or black) during that time, it’s recommended you grow out your hair at least 6 months before undergoing another bleaching and toning plus trim off the ends to maintain the health of your hair.
Steps to take if your hair is ready to undergo another bleaching:
1. A week before your appointed day to bleach/lighten or color your hair: use a clarifying shampoo such as SUAVE SHAMPOO DAILY CLARIFYING to reduce previous tint as much as possible a few times (2 or 3 shampoo uses would be sufficient) during the week
2. Do not moisture too much with heavy conditioner or moisturizer or your hair shaft will be coated completely to prevent effective color removal and bleaching to achieve their job; use a light conditioner
3. Do not use any styling aids such as hair spray, mousse or gel nor leave-in conditioner of any kind at least a few days before; leave only freshly dried shampooed and lightly conditioned hair
Once you have follow the steps above, your hair is primed for color removal/stripping process (if you have a darker color left in your hair from previous color) or if your have since then chopped off your ends so it only leaves behind your virgin hair (never been colored since then), do proceed with the bleaching or double process.
Have fun with the process! It’s always exciting to go blonde after a long period of being in any other color but blonde.

This product has been on the shelf for a while. Some people have reviewed this product who have tried it. While I haven’t really tried this product by the fact it will not work on naturally dark hair but on those who are naturally blonde or already has been prelightened. But I wanted to list all hair color products that caught my eye and talk about them.
When I looked at those products by L’Oreal Superior Preference Dream Blonde, I thought the boxes were pretty by the design and how alluring they look at the eye level. But I know marketing too well so there’s no point of saying they’re the best or that anyone should try it because I always stick to what I buy at Sally Beauty or other salon beauty stores. But I wanna have fun and talk about what products are available out there and maybe one of you would be happy to share your experience trying those products. That’s the part of having fun with beauty and hair products!
Let’s talk about Dream Blonde’s Glistening Magnolia #11. I think it’s the lightest blonde shade they have. But they also have other 7 blonde shades: Evening Primrose (#7), Lily Blossom (#7A), Sparkling Lotus (#8A), Sunflower Princess (#8G), Sweet Buttercup (#8), Moonbeam Shine (#9), Pure Orchid (#9A), Alluring Peony (#10). One is a lightener called Ultra Lightening (#100). Letter A next to a number represents the color has ash base which will cancel out the yellow undertones that come with lightening. Letter G represents golden base which means the hair color will have golden and warm undertones, best suited to those people whose skin color under Fall season who look good with warm colors. #7 is their darkest level of blonde while #11 is their lightest level of blonde, which is known as extra light blonde and platinum.
The hair dye box comes with shampoo, conditioner, pre-color moisture infuser and continuous shine crème, which is an extra compared to other box hair color kits. Let’s see the product in pictures.

For a great looking color and hair, there is a tip to maintain a great color without telltale brassiness in between touch ups and/or coloring one’s hair.
Normally, when you or the hairdresser perform a root touch up color process, you would resort to a toner, semi or demi permanent color to dye the roots from 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the product used. But if you want to avoid super brassy tones that sometimes appear in between root touch ups when you style your hair, we highly recommend Roux Fanci-Full Rinse. It has been around since the 50s and 60s, and they haven’t gone out of business although not many people use them anymore. This products works well when it comes to depositing temporary color in hair because it contains no ammonia or peroxide so it’s super gentle on your double processed locks without further damage. They are rinse in color so it will only last until the next shampoo time, which will be rinsed out. This rinse will tone down any brassiness in your hair and create a beautiful, pastel blonde that you see on TV or magazines. It’s one of the hair dresser’s secrets. But for at home color users, this is a must for your hair arsenal to achieve beautiful looking blonde hair without damage.
How to use this product? After you shampoo and moisturize your hair in the shower, towel dry your hair so it’s slightly damp. Pour a small amount of this 15 oz. product into your hair and then massage the rinse all over your hair. Voila! You can go ahead and style your hair as part of your daily routine. Watch as your hair dries into a lovely shade of pristine blonde without the brassiness and will last until your next shower. Depending on the level of your lightness, go with either White Minx or Ultra White Minx rinse suited for level 9 or 10 blonde colors, respectively. If you’re level 8 or darker, go with either Bashful Blonde (beige base) or Spun Sand (green base, level 7). For your convenience, you can purchase this product below.
