After hearing about this product, I had to try it because I always use anti-frizz serum faithfully to keep my hair in good shape and condition because of the chemical processing. I’m reviewing One ‘n Only Argan Oil Treatment and Restorative Mask. As some of you may not know what is argan oil? Why is it important to use oil, argan oil in particular? While I’m no chemist, oil treatment has been used by women for thousand of years to treat their hair and, apparently, skin, so there’s a saying…what works back then will continue to work to this day. There’s no secret to it in spite of the market trying to make it a “secret”. Here’s what Wikipedia says about this oil below.
Argan oil is an oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree, endemic to Morocco, that is valued for its nutritive, cosmetic and numerous medicinal properties. The tree, a relict species from the Tertiary age, is extremely well adapted to drought and other environmentally harsh conditions of southwestern Morocco.
I’ll talk about using Only ‘n One Argan Oil Treatment. I didn’t use much but wow, it is truly oily. Then used blow dryer to dry my hair. After it’s mostly dry, I could feel instant silkiness and smoothness where some areas of my hair normally is straw-like and rough. The oil treatment made it really smooth, much to my surprise. Mind you, I’m not looking for a miracle but a maintenance regimen to keep my hair healthy since it has been through so much past 2 years. Use sparingly, otherwise, my hair gets too oily because it’s thick. But I really like it compared to other glossing polish products I’ve used in the past. I’ve used Proclaim Olive Oil Glossing Polish and ION Oil-Free Glosser which work pretty well but the argan oil works slightly differently because it is natural, not chemical. I could feel the difference.
Then there’s Only ‘n One Argan Oil Restorative Mask. It’s amazing! I left it in for about 10 minutes because, the longer you leave in the mask, it works wonder and make your hair super soft and silky afterward. Whoever has chemically processed hair equally soft as natural hair? Not that many, especially over time where damage begins to manifest via straw like and super dry ends. I don’t mean just double process coloring but those who have coarse and dry hair from heat appliances and and other treatments like straightening and perming. My hair felt really good and felt soft to my touch, which I adore! For those who have super dry hair, whether it’s from color or heat, weekly hair mask is a must as a part of one’s hair treatment regimen.
Since those products are natural and good for your hair, they are also budget friendly if you’re on a pinch financially. Rather than pay for high end hair oil, this will make your hair happy because you took really good care of your hair that has taken so much beating. Would this work on natural hair that never has been processed in any other way, I would say yes. Just because you chose not to color your hair, using heated hair appliances, such as curling iron or dry blower, can take a toll on your hair, using a bit of this oil treatment works wonder for your hair.

This subject is probably one of the most controversial topics because some people have very strong opinions on the subject. I’m certain there are millions of people, both men and women, all over the world, who view beauty differently. But it boils down to two things that are frequently seen in beauty world — what’s artificial and what’s natural. It seemed the proponents of au naturel beauty (eg: NO makeup, hair dye, eye contacts, fake boobs, etc.) prefer to see people in their natural state without any artificial embellishments. But there’s also the rest of us who like to embellish our God given beauty by making us look and feel at our best. There seems to be a war between these groups whose opinions differ.
For me, I have no problem with people who experiment with their looks, be it hair color, eye contacts, get a tan, nip tuck here and there, because we have the freedom of choice how we want to look and feel about ourselves. We cannot dictate what others feel about themselves but for others to judge us based on their notions of beauty might be way off. Sometimes a dash of lipstick and dying hair makes a woman look more sultry and beautiful rather than their natural state? Artificiality seems to turn off some people for some reason. Isn’t artificiality is what draws people to the person in the first place based on attractiveness? Be honest! Plastic surgery may be too much for some people, especially younger women. I think plastic surgery should not be taken lightly and should be very well thought and analyzed before going through with it. Everyone has different notions of beauty and I think beauty should be something that is within our control and choice without anyone taking that away from us, unlike some countries who forbid women to wear nice clothes that reveal skin or wear makeup because their husbands or men are in absolute control of their lives, unfortunately. Women are blessed with different shapes and looks unlike men, therefore, we are designed to be women and we can get away with a lot of things. For those who prefer au naturel look, then more power to them. A man should be with a woman not based on her looks alone but a whole package — intelligence, personality, strength, kindness and so on. And vice versa. A man who relies on dating women who look like dolls doesn’t cut it in the long run. Remember this! You can be beautiful but all of us get old and gray eventually, so it’s the inside that counts in the long run and how you convey yourself as a person. When you’re young, grab all of the opportunities to make yourself stand out and be an individual regardless of world’s beauty standards or your ethnicity. Life is too short not to try anything at least once.
There are very few people in the entire world who looks beautiful without make up, hair dye, hair extensions, contacts, etc. but most of us would benefit from a bit of help in a bottle, lipstick or eyeshadow. I think there’s nothing wrong being artificial because it will help us see ourselves better and feel good about ourselves. Bleached hair and fake boobs may represent artificiality but what about those who have dyed raven locks and wear bright red lipstick? Isn’t that also artificial? Look at Katy Perry, she’s an epitome of artificiality — dyed jet black hair, bright eye and face make up, and outlandish outfits? Same thing as Lady Gaga. Should they be punished for being artificial? No! They are their own person and get away with it. Goes true for the rest of us, regular folks, too. Who said we have to follow certain beauty standards? We shouldn’t no matter what others say about you.

Surgi Invisi-Bleach Hair Bleaching Cream for Face & Arms – Gentle Formula 1.5 Oz,

I read some good reviews on this product. To have that sun kissed look, it’s recommended to use a bronzing powder to put on the face and body without resorting to harmful rays of the sun or use a self-tanner. Using a self-tanner is another story. Here you will learn why it is useful to use the bronzing powder and this product is a good one because they have two choices of shades: Caribbean and Riviera. Caribbean is lighter and looks more goldish than Riviera, which is a little darker. If you’re light skinned, go with Caribbean. If you’re darker skinned, go with Riviera. Place the brush on your nose, cheeks, and brow for that extra glow of the sun.

You can purchase it via Amazon Sephora Brand Bronzer Powder SPF 15.
